Female Figures: Today and Yesterday

As part of the International Women’s Day celebrations celebrated on March 8, the Cultural Department of the Australian Institute of Macedonian Studies presents the modern WOMEN’S FORM of Rania Paschalis Patrikidis Mezzo soprano with CD, DREAMS and FAIRY TALES.

The event will also feature the female figure of Cassiani of Byzantine times with the film of the same name Cassiani. This beautiful event will take place on March 1 in the lecture hall of the Hellenic Community of Melbourne, 168 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne 3000, at 7 p.m.

Admission is free to the public and everyone is welcome. The coordinators of the event will be Dr. Eleni Kalambouka (Vice President of AIMS) and Mrs. Theofani Karabatsa (Head of the cultural department of AIMS).

After the end of the screening of the film, there will be a reception with traditional dishes. It is noted that Maestro Mr. Valentinos Patrikidis and his wife Mezzo Soprano Rania- Paschalis Patrikidis, in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Macedonian Studies offer to the FOUNDATION OF LOVE for children with special needs 100 CDs which will be sold after the end of the screening of the film.

AIMS expresses its satisfaction with the newly elected Board of Directors of the historic Community and warmly thanks the President, Mr. Papastergiadis and the members of the Council for the constructive cooperation.
